Purpose
As part of our mission, we aspire to make University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis the institution of choice for students, faculty, staff and guest across a range of health care practices and fields, with an inspiring culture that drives success. UHSP is committed to providing a diverse and inclusive learning and working environment free from discrimination and harm. This policy establishes a Bias Incident Response Committee (BIRC); definitions and procedures to receive reports of bias incidents; ensure that affected individuals receive resources and support; and coordinate a holistic campus response grounded in restorative practice to promote accountability, learning, healing and growth.
