Purpose

The University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis is committed to providing a safe and healthful educational and employment environment for its entire population. In pursuit of this endeavor, the UHSP Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure Control Plan has been enacted to eliminate or minimize potential student and employee exposures to bloodborne pathogens and to comply with OSHA standard 29 CFR 1910.1030, “Occupational Exposure to Bloodborne Pathogens.”
