Purpose

The special pay practices policy establishes clear and fair pay policies for certain employees in specific circumstances where critical personnel are essential to maintaining and/or restoring key University functions.

Applies to faculty and staff. Some portions of this policy apply to only critical personnel and/or non-exempt employees in support, service or technical positions (for example, dining services, public safety, maintenance, custodian, IT technical support).
