Abstract
We report the case of a patient with a recurrent Ochrobactrum anthropi line infection that was treated with antibiotics and catheter removal. We review reported cases of adult O. anthropi bacteremia in immuncompetent patients for O. anthropi sensitivities, treatment with antibiotics, and antibiotic duration. We also review complications from O. anthropi bacteremia, such as reinfection and septic emboli. © 2010 by Lippincott Williams & Wilkins.
